Lecturer in Italian Language

The Centre for Modern Language in SoH currently offers electives in 16 modern languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Malay, Russian, Singapore Sign Language, Spanish, Thai and Vietnamese). The Centre places great importance on enhancing the intercultural knowledge and skills of the learners as well as their linguistic competence. Requirements:

- Postgraduate qualification in Italian as a foreign/second language, Italian Linguistics, Italian Studies or equivalent.
- Native proficiency in written and spoken Italian to teach adult students.
- Experienced and demonstrated excellence in teaching Italian preferably at tertiary level.
- Experienced in developing Italian language materials, including e-learning resources.
- Experienced with multimedia and computer-based instructional technologies.
- Ability to coordinate large courses.
- Proficient in English to communicate to students and stakeholders
