**Legal & Compliance Operations Specialist**:To support its continued growth, InfraCo Asia is actively seeking applicants for a **Legal & Compliance Operations Specialist **role, based in Singapore. As part of the Executive Management Team, the Legal & Compliance Operations Specialist will be instrumental to InfraCo Asia’s mission, which is to catalyse the private sector investments needed to bridge the infrastructure gap in Asia’s emerging and frontier markets.

(InfraCo Asia) is a commercially managed infrastructure development and investment company of the Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG). Headquartered in Singapore, InfraCo Asia catalyses greater private sector investment in infrastructure across South and Southeast Asia by providing funding and development expertise.

InfraCo Asia funds early-stage development activities to realise socially responsible and commercially viable infrastructure that contributes to sustainable and inclusive economic growth. InfraCo Asia is currently funded by four members of PIDG - the governments of the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Australia.

**Position Summary**:Reporting to the Director, General Counsel (“DGC”) and playing a supporting role to the Legal and Compliance Team (consisting of Corporate Secretariat Manager, Senior Compliance Officer, Legal Counsels), Project Leads and Executive Management Team (“EMT”), the **Legal & Compliance Operations Specialist **will manage and assist in establishing strong legal and compliance operations and workflows, including tracking, reporting, filing, administration and compliance matters with respect to InfraCo Asia and its companies and projects across InfraCo Asia’s mandated countries of focus across South and South-East Asia.

The position is an integral part of the Legal and Compliance team, and will be expected to take ownership to create, input into, and enforce a robust framework of tracking, reporting, filing and compliance, and to ensure that the Team and the group remain properly organised, and all records and documents are kept up to date.

**Requirements and Attributes**:

- Diploma level qualifications and above and/or relevant certifications preferred, or strong and demonstrated hands-on relevant experience and past successes in similar roles in lieu of paper qualifications;
- At least 5 years of experience in a commercial legal and compliance analyst and operations capacity. Strong track record and experience in aspects related to Document Control/Document Management System, Paralegal, Corporate Secretarial, Compliance, Data Privacy and Legal Operations will be considered favorably;
- Collaborative team player who is willing to support and contribute to the wider Legal and Compliance Team and the EMT. Willingness to learn and contribute; with a passion for improving the business and filing and administration processes paramount;
- Proactive and independent with excellent multi-tasking and organization skills and meticulous attention to detail;
- Ability to embrace change and comfortable with ambiguity
- Demonstrate track record and strong ability to plan and organise effectively, capture know-how, records and documentation; grasp processes and procedures, as well as anticipate requirements for processes and procedures;
- Tenacious advocate for filing, tracking of matters and documents and compliance;
- Exhibit commercial awareness and ability to track and appreciate developments of implications and their impact on business activities (for example, data privacy requirements). Exposure to emerging markets’ risk and compliance issues will be a strong plus;
- Passion and interest to take on ownership and initiative to problem solve, improve processes and identify areas for early-stage attention, mitigation and resolution from a compliance and reporting perspective;
- Culturally sensitive and proficient in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills to collaborate with remote team members across different time zones and cultures;
- Ability to interact, build influence and credibility with internal and external stakeholders, including third parties with whom InfraCo Asia is working with or investing with/in;
- Proficient with Microsoft Sharepoint and Microsoft Office suite. Demonstrated ability to build in ‘automations’ and efficiencies leveraging technology looked upon favorably;
