**Responsibilities**:

- Familiarization with the Company’s markets and industries of interest
- Establish and maintain solid customer relationships with new and existing counterparties, including regular visits and daily communications.
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of customers’ contacts and make contact with potential clients to develop new business prospects
- Develop and execute hedging strategies to minimize physical position exposures/basis/spread risk to market volatility
- Formulate edible oil trading strategies, organize the implementation of plans, and ensure smooth completion of business.
- Coordinate communication between teams (Sales, Operations, Shipping, Purchasing) and be responsible for resolving problems or disputes about the source of the supplier in the supply chain.
- Responsible for derivative positions including analysis, risk metrics, position limits, daily reconciliations, and strict adherence to regulations regarding trading practices and reporting
- To set up desk for commodity trading
- Handle banking formalities in connection with import and export
- Ensure timely achievement of KPIs
- Ad hoc task as and when required by the Management

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Economics, or Marketing
- Minimum 5 years in International Business Development (preferably from the commodities industry)
- Proven track records in trading strategies and commercial experience
- Strong knowledge and insights in the Edible Oil / Oilseed industry and its supply and demand dynamics
- Have 3 -5 years of trading (physicals and futures) experience in the grains/oilseeds / Veg. oils
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Mature and thoughtful with the ability to operate in a collaborative, team-oriented culture
