**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the fire protection team, offering technical guidance, support, and mentorship as necessary.
- Develop and implement fire protection strategies, standards, and policies in line with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments and contractors to create fire protection plans meeting project requirements.
- Ensure all fire protection systems within the facilities are in good working condition. Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Design and execute fire safety training programs for facility staff and workers.
- Stay abreast of developments in fire protection systems, codes, and standards. Ensure the team remains updated on best practices.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, fire departments, and other stakeholders to guarantee compliance with codes and regulations.
- Provide technical support to project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of fire protection systems.
- Develop and monitor budgets, providing regular reports to the Director of Facilities Management.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and currency of all project documentation.
- Manage client relationships effectively.
- Mentor a team consisting of 1 Assistant Engineer, 3 Technical Officers, and 4 workers.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Facilities, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Preferably with a minimum of 3 or 5 years of experience in fire protection or facilities management, with a focus on fire protection.
- Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, principles, codes, and standards is advantageous.
- Experience in managing and leading a team of engineers and technicians.
- Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to identify and develop creative solutions.
