Application Specialist, Microscopy OVERVIEW
Provides sales, product and technical service support for Microscopy and Systems, example microscope, Image Analyzers, Laser Confocal Microscopy etc., within budgetary and resource constraints with the objective of achieving results for Sales and Technical Support in accordance with set targets and product lines

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Provide technical support including installation, commissioning and training to local customers and distribution network in order to fulfill customers' after sales needs
Conduct product installations and customer operational training including trouble shooting in order to ensure the customer satisfaction.

SALES SUPPORT

PRODUCT PRESENTATION, DEMONSTRATION AND TRAINING
Lead / plan and organize presentation / demonstration and training on a regular basis with tabulated schedule in order to effectively support the sales function
Conduct of Assigned Product Demonstrations at customers site when needed

PRODUCT TRAINING
Provide Software / Hardware training to customers and distributors in order to ensure competency in handling our product
Conduct Assigned Product Trainings to new employees of the company or its related distributors to further the Business growth in SEA

TRAINING STRATEGY
Formulate training materials to ensure in-depth knowledge and understanding of products and strive for continuous improvement through collecting feedback after each training in order to effectively pass on knowledge

PRODUCT MARKETING
Develop marketing strategies to target specific industry customer segments.
Craft digital marketing communications for campaigns

PRODUCT INFORMATION
Contribute and provide market intelligence and consolidate information in order to help maximize customer exposure to the product

SALES AND MARKETING INFORMATION
Ensure thorough knowledge of customer installation base and maintain complete customer records by customer classification and market segmentation in order to achieve sales and technical support objectives

OTHERS
Responsible for Application Issue for Assigned products for respective Division for SEA Region.
Continuously entering up-to-date information into the CRM database in order to provide a sound basis for activity planning.
Plan and deliver special projects as requested by the sales supervisor in order to address specific tactical and/or strategic business needs.
Supply information assisting Market share development, competitor’s activities, trends and markets developments in geographic region of responsibility to Sales Management and marketing
Others duties and responsibility as assigned
Compliance to regulatory, international and company’s EHS requirement

**REQUIREMENTS**:
a) Professional Experience
Presentation skill
Computer literacy
Knowledge of products and the operational functions of the SU and BU
strong knowledge about Electron Microscopy Sample Preparation Technology and Widefield Microscopy

b) Education
Degree or equilvalent with 2 years of experience in related field
