**Job scope**:

- To be the main teacher in teaching English/Phonics to kids aged 18 mths to 8 yrs old;
- Core working hours are weekends 8.30 am to 6 pm;
- Lesson Preparation on weekdays; and
- Ad-hoc Receptionist duties and centre maintenance whenever required (we’re a small family so everybody chips in).

**Responsibilities**:

- Able to work on weekdays from 9 to 6pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 8.30 to 5.30pm (off days are on Wednesdays and Thursdays).
- The learning journey of the little ones under your care.

**Requirements**:

- Singaporean
- Diploma in Early Childhood or Performing Arts/Theatre or Degree (we are open to all degrees).
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Graduates with some teaching experience are preferred (tuition or volunteering counts). But if you have some Teaching Superpower (like the ability to get 30 kids to listen to you in 10 seconds), we want you too
- Ability to conduct lessons in a fun, engaging and effective way.
- Salary will commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Phonics and English training will be provided. (Skills-future approved)

- Curious Thoughts Academy is an English Learning Centre specialising in Phonics and English lessons. We have a “Pay-it-forward” system where every 3 paying students from the public helps pay for a beneficiary’s phonics, English or Math lessons.

We believe in an evidence-based literacy programme and we are looking for like-minded individuals who want to change lives through literacy and numeracy

Curious Thoughts Academy is a teacher-owned company and have no private investors. This means that all decisions pertaining to our curriculum are made based on the best interests of the child. We’re not stressed by financial concerns such as looking at “Return on Investments” for private investors or at maximising profitability. We believe in providing quality education at a reasonable price. As such, we have grown tremendously in students enrolment in these past 2 years as we are lean and flexible to constantly innovate and tweak our curriculum to ensure that we are at the forefront of research.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $3,000.00 - $3,500.00 per month
