Pal Category Marketing Manager

**Job Scope**
- The PAL CATEGORY MANAGER is fully responsible for the growth of the PAL category including the key Essilor brands Varilux, Essilor Essentials, and other partner PALs in Southeast Asia and Korea (SEA+K).
- Develops the Category & Brand regional strategy from planning & execution, working closely with various stakeholders) to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
- Be the lead expert on the Market, Category & Product(s), driving all initiatives, such as product launches, category and brand activation
- Supports management, regional/ zone needs and local marketing team to meet business objectives.
**Key Activities**
- Developing and implementing the strategy for PAL Category development by: a) addressing ECP barriers via education & tools b) addressing consumer barriers via education and activation.
- Managing the PAL Portfolio positioning & pricing based on understanding of consumers and competition. Working with Blue network and partners to synergize the product portfolio.
- Brand management of key Essilor brands (Varilux, Essentials) driving the global program and innovation, creating the regional go-to-market strategy w/ Call-to-Action and adapting brand communication in Media, Digital & In-store.
- Managing launches of innovation and initiatives such as launch of new products and commercial programs, collaborating across R&D, logistics, media, global and country teams.
- Monthly business reporting of KPI’s, Sales tracking and launch follow up, recommending action plans to drive growth
**Key Requirements**
- 8-10 years’ experience as a Marketing Manager, with at least one significant experience in B2C environment (FMCG, F&B, OTC)
- Degree in Marketing / Business studies
- Experience in brand management and launches of new product or commercial programs.
- At ease with technical topics (scientific background or previous experience in medical devices/ technical or optical field is an advantage)
- Able to translate technical product performance into consumer-friendly communication.
- Excellent teamwork skills, proven ability to influence cross-functional teams & used to work in multi-cultural environment.
- Self starter with minimum supervision.
**Success Measures**
- % growth (Vol and Val) of PAL category and brands (Varilux, Essentials) meets Budget
- % increase in PAL & Varilux active doors.
- Meet # of target doors completing PAL training.
