The **Solution Architect**is responsible for creating the most appropriate architecture for a software development project and maintaining control over the architecture throughout the entire project lifecycle. This includes defining design and programming guidelines, establishing the design of the system, integrating various components, identifying and mitigating technical risks, and adhering to architectural principles, technology standards, and best practices.

**What will you do?**

**Solution Delivery**
- Prepare, review, and deliver business value solutions for customers, including proposal writing, presentations, and conducting Proof-of-Concept to showcase technical feasibility when necessary.
- Propose technical solutions, select technologies, and estimate resources required to develop solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Articulate alternatives in terms of cost, benefit, and risk where multiple solutions exist.
- Highlight the positive impact of NCS solutions to help customers achieve their business goals.
- Provide pre-sales delivery of technical consultancy services to customers globally.

**Knowledge Ascertainment**
- Develop a high level of knowledge for products under focused competencies, being technically aware and capable of providing complete solutions.
- Perform evaluations on products within focused competencies for greater understanding of their capabilities.

**Organization Development**
- Coach, train, and mentor Solution Architects.
- Deliver enablement sessions to NCS presales teams articulate NCS’s service offerings and solutions, positioning them against competitors.
- Continuously improve enablement materials to ensure quality and relevance.
- Maintain reusable components to facilitate the selling process and ensure consistency in service quality.
- Contribute to competency enablement throughout NCS globally.
- Develop and manage a focused competency community to support business growth and enhance the NCS brand.

**Business Development**
- Participate in pre-sale activities.
- Review technical solutions and estimated resources prepared by the proposal team.
- Identify, build, and manage partnerships with product vendors to strengthen NCS’s product capabilities and stay updated on emerging technologies.
- Typically 7 years of hands-on experience with System Integration (SI) projects, with at least 4 years focused on one product family under NCS competencies.
- Experience in preparing technical/architect blueprints and designing distributed systems is an added advantage.
- Certification in appropriate technologies is an advantage.
- Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, including strong persuasive techniques.
- Ability to lead, develop, and maintain respectful and trusting relationships.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Able to travel locally as required

- Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
