Singapore Military Security Department Full time

**What the role is**
- You will lead a team to manage and support acquisitions for the department, and ensure optimization of resources.

**What you will be working on**
- You will define the overarching procurement strategy and create a robust governance framework that is aligned to existing legislations and regulations. You will be responsible for the engagement of internal customers to transform procurement systems and processes to better meet the department’s operational needs. You will be required to source, negotiate and review contracts for the department. You will also provide guidance on complex procurement requirements and assess proposals to ensure that spending is value-for-money, and guide end-users on supplier and contract management.

**What we are looking for**
- You must have a tertiary education with at least 8 years of experience in procurement, finance or contract management. You should have strong working knowledge of government-related financial and procurement regulations and systems, and the ability to manage a diverse portfolio, handle disparate views and forge alliance and consensus. You should also possess good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
