Singapore ASP MARINE & TECHNICAL SERVICES PTE. LTD. Full time

ASP Ships Group is seeking to appoint an accomplished Vessel Inspection Manager to lead asset condition inspections for our global and diversified fleet, as well as third party clients.

This is an exciting and fulfilling opportunity to develop and expand our company’s approach to asset condition monitoring and continue sailing towards a sustainable future.

Through your interactions with management teams across the technical, commercial and people functions, you will have accountability in managing, setting, developing and delivering on client’s vessel inspection requirements, developing operational strategies and building our inspection services portfolio internationally.

This key role encompasses many elements, including but not limited to the following:
Inspections:

- Undertake vessel inspections for owned, managed and third party vessels and report on the same, whilst suggesting areas for improved condition, reliability and efficiency.
- Develop the business and build our inspection services portfolio internationally.
- Comprehend client requirements and contribute insights for customising products to partners and developers.

Projects:

- Oversee and manage client projects with end-to-end project management, as required.
- Assist in overseeing the creation of and develop new drydock specifications and vessel repair plans, as required.
- Liaise with different stakeholders including Class societies to obtain necessary project approvals.
- **Class 1 Deck or Engine**:

- Possession of a Marine Engineering or Nautical degree (or equivalent).
- Sailing background and shore based superintendency considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in the shipping sector, particularly in vessel condition and inspection.
- Strong motivation to engage with clients effectively.
- Proficiency in modern IT tools and concepts.
- Analytical and conceptual aptitude with a self-driven and energetic approach.
- Ability to inspire and persuade, with confident interpersonal skills suitable for interactions with colleagues and clients across various levels.
- Ability to work independently or as party of a team whilst maintaining a high level of engagement.
