Golf Instructor

Golf instructors are responsible for teaching people how to play golf. They may also be responsible for developing practice plans, providing feedback on form and technique, and helping clients improve their game over time.

Golf instruction is a specialized field that requires knowledge of both golf and human movement. Golf instructors must know how the body moves when swinging a golf club so they can provide effective feedback and guidance to their students.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform duties and meet requirements for sales, rentals, tournament, golf groups, and services in which the Head Professional and Director of Golf deem necessary
- Assist with daily golf operations
- Assist customers with the use of our Indoor Golf Simulator and in enhancing their skill level
- Assist in organization of junior golf groups
- Teach junior golfers full swing, putting, short game, rules of golf and etiquette
- Set up and tear down golf academy areas and insure that all items are placed properly and ready for students and parents
- Any other special projects and duties as assigned by the Head Golf Professional
- Knowledge of various golf training aids
- Help Golf Professionals manage and oversee player services and player assistants
- Participate in junior golf development
