Boeing Flight and Training Services Singapore is looking for a **Senior Flight Operations Support Specialist - Standards/Regulatory **to join our team in **Singapore**. This role will provide information, training and evaluation to company flight crews on airplane operating procedures to enhance flight operations standardization, effectiveness and safety. In addition, will serve as a consultant to management and other industry professionals. The work location is at Changi North.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Resolves training and standardization issues
- Develops communications to ensure standardization of flight training with Instructors and Evaluators
- Participate in training planning conferences to proactively address flight standards issues before training begins
- Conducts internal operational line checks for Boeing pilots, Instructors and Evaluators
- Knowledgeable on National Aviation Authority (NAA) requirements for Flight Crew Training
- Provides oversight at training campuses and supports campus staff to ensure Standardization of Flight Training and resolution of related questions
- Ensures NAA requirements for Practical Test Standards are addressed in training
- Review Training Curriculum and Courseware to ensure standardization
- Conducts Practical Test certification functions for pilot type ratings and endorsements
- Conducts simulator training
- Evaluates aircrew performance and issues appropriate qualification or ratings in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Develops and manages selection process and training for new Training Center Evaluators/Authorized Evaluators and other internal check airmen
- Evaluates other Training Center Evaluators/Authorized Evaluators and other internal check airmen
- Maintains pilot proficiency in all areas of flight operations
- Recognized as knowledgeable in the elements of flight operations standardization, flight instruction and evaluation
- Defines aircrew instruction philosophy and approach for standardizing training and training materials
- Establishes training and flight operations standards
- Provides specialized services to support flight crew training, standardization and operation of Boeing airplanes
- Participates in various Technical Review Boards and Flight Operations Review Boards regarding the publication and modification of procedures and techniques for operating Boeing airplanes
- Writes instructional documents to explain background and philosophy of the current company approach to standardization of airplane operating procedures and techniques
- Researches and analyzes airplane model differences to assist with standardization of normal and supplementary procedures, checklists and manuals to provide a consistent standardized presentation of operating procedures
- Meets with regulatory agencies and National Aviation Authority Officials and participates in rulemaking activities
- Negotiates with regulatory agencies
- Coordinates ongoing pending document changes, policies and procedures with regulatory agencies
- Collect and review data to identify trends in evaluations and training and make recommendations for improvement
- Participate in Curriculum Review Board to ensure standardized approach to recommended changes in training curriculum
- Interacts with Training Development as a Subject Matter Expert in the process of standardizing procedures and policies
- Participates on new program Integrated Project Teams as the Flight Standards representative

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:

- Transport Category Aircraft Type Rating
- Experience as an instructor pilot or examiner
- Experience working within aviation regulatory environments

**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)**:

- Bachelor degree or higher
- Experience instructor in part 142 operations and/or ATO
- Examiner or APD with an air carrier and/or training operation
- Instructor and/or Mentor of other instructors
- Experience working with CAA’S, FAA and/or other groups

**Typical Education/Experience**:
Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree with typically 7 or more years’ or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
