Machine Learning Engineer

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
**The role will entail working alongside a friendly team of experienced researchers to develop machine translation and multilingual AI models and deploy them to our online video conference products.**

**After a massively successful 2020, it is an exciting phase for us at Zoom and we are now looking to strengthen our R&D team in Singapore.**
- ** Build and deploy state-of-the-art ML models for machine and speech translation use cases**
- ** Build large-scale training and inference pipelines**
- ** Build and scale real-time translation services that enable Zoom’s products**
- ** Take ML and translation models from research to production**
- ** Build metrics, and dashboards to measure both ML and system performance**
- ** Work closely with the Research teams to build the required tools and services to make them productive**
- ** Work closely with the product and operations teams to integrate translation services seamlessly into the products**
- ** Work closely with various groups on data acquisition, cleanup, and related tooling**

**Basic Qualifications**:

- ** 5+ years of experience with a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related fields.**
- ** Strong experience in transformers, and sequence-to-sequence models.**
- ** Extensive experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and strong programming skills (Python, C/C++) with proven experience in delivering advanced algorithmic solutions.**
- ** Track record of driving ML research projects from start to finish. Including conception, problem definition, iteration, publication, and productization.**
- ** Solid software development experience.**

**Bonus Qualifications**
- ** Familiarity with large-scale data processing and distributed systems.**
- ** A passion for making ML methods robust.**
- ** Solid Machine Learning background and familiar with modern speech and machine learning techniques.**
- ** Strong verbal and written communication skills.**
