**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Reporting to the Director of Enrichment, you will lead the teaching and curriculum team in designing, developing and delivering high-quality enrichment programmes and drive the mission and vision of The Eton Academy.

**Job Role & Responsibilities**
- Work with the Director of Enrichment to conceptualize, drive and execute strategic initiatives
- Lead the curriculum team in the design, research, development and production of high-quality lesson materials for children that is in line with EtonHouse’s teaching philosophy
- Ensure that curriculum is aligned with MOE’s learning goals
- Responsible for the overall strategy and planning of the curriculum team
- Assist the Head in leading the teaching team in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Observe, train and evaluate teachers to ensure that they meet expectations in lesson delivery and uphold the teaching quality
- Monitor and assess the impact and effectiveness of the planned curriculum on teaching and learning across levels
- Develop learning improvement plans where necessary
- Plan manpower requirement of teaching and curriculum staff
- Involve in the recruitment of teaching and curriculum staff
- Take up teaching duties when needs arises and/or when there are no available manpower to cover regular classes, holidays and special programmes
- Develop close relationships with students and parents to understand their needs and ensure the team delivers lessons that are up to expectations
- Ensure parents are regularly informed of their children’s progress
- Develop good working relationships with team members and foster a harmonious working environment
- Manage stakeholder relationships and project progress within budget and timelines
- To complete all our duties assigned by the management team

**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Job Requirements**
- At least 5 to 8 years of relevant academic leadership experience, with a strong professional track record
- Minimum 5 years of English curriculum and teaching experience
- Experience in building teams and demonstrating strategic leadership
- Able to collaborate with key partners and stakeholders
- A strong track record of expertise in the Singapore education system
- Collaborator with excellent communication skills
- Flexible, and able to manage change and ambiguity well
- Experience in the implementation of an Inquiry model of teaching and learning is a plus
- Required to work on four weekdays and one day over the weekend
- Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) in required field
