We are the messaging team on TikTok. Our team's mission is to facilitate meaningful user connections through TikTok's messaging experience, which is still in its infancy. We achieve our mission by building and shipping tools that help our users more easily connect and share the things they care about.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for leading a backend technical team in the field of social function to explore and implement diversified social solutions with PM team to achieve annual targets
- Collaborate with business teams and use unique features of various countries & regions to deliver a distinctive TikTok social solution such as messaging
- Develop comprehensive technical solutions for multiple terminals to reduce overall technical investment, be responsible for technical development layout, and help solve complex technical problems
- Responsible for backend team management, and team member cultivation

**Qualifications**:
**Qualifications**:

- Must have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and 5 years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.
- Possess 5 years of experience in the following:

- Using at least one programming language: C/C++, Java, JavaScript, Go or Python
- Working on technology systems related to large-scale consumer products (content/game/e-commerce/social, etc.)
- Leading backend teams to develop large-scale distributed technical system architectures
