Our client is looking for an Associate in the Fund Services department.

**Purpose of the role**:
This role assists the Manager with the preparation of accounting deliverables and client servicing.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the accounting and administration of a portfolio of Private Equity and Closed Ended Funds
- Record all accounting transactions and prepare periodic work papers, management accounts, and financial statements
- Preparation of bank account reconciliation, capital call and distribution notices, and waterfall/equalization workings
- Perform follow-up with the client as necessary on accounting documentation
- Respond to client queries
- Handle client payments and receipts
- Co-ordinate annual audits
- Draft annual financial statements and their related IFRS/US GAAP disclosures
- Monitor/adhere to Regulatory deadlines for corporate and tax filings
- Assist on client service matters, maintaining and building client relationships
- Undertake general administration and other projects as assigned

- Strong time management skills in meeting client deadlines
- Competent accounting knowledge in Singapore FRS/IFRS and US GAAP standards
- Familiar with Singapore regulatory filing

**Relevant experience**:

- Possess at least 1 to 2 years of accounting/audit experience

**Education/Professional Qualifications**:

- Degree in accountancy (CPA/ACCA/ACA ) or finance or equivalent.
- Sound knowledge of Singapore FRS/IFRS and US GAAP.
- Strong working knowledge of EXCEL and MS Word.
