DESIGNATION : Principal Product Designer / Product Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES

NE Digital is currently hiring for a Product Designer with a passion in solving problems to join the FairPrice Group. If you love e-commerce, it’s a plus If you are curious, love to influence how people shop through design, is a go-getter and comfortable in leading change in an organisation, where high-velocity is a given, and aren't afraid to take on the complex and long-established business of grocery, cooked food and turn it into something thoughtful and magical, we want to hear from you

You will be reporting to the Head of Product Design and Research.

**What you will be doing**
- Lead design project with cross functional team, you be listening and helping team to rethink and reframe opinions or feature request into problem statements
- Let customers be our northstar. Confidently communicate recommendations, rationalize design decisions based on user data, sometimes a little hunch and is a strong advocate for users’ needs.
- Synthesis research results into multiple design concepts and prototypes; from low-fi to pixel perfect prototypes when needed.
- Take pride in owning your work, and you take responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way.
- Produce designs and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, user research to ensure a smooth product development process.
- Be a Customer Champion, who is willing to work towards helping the teams to be customer-centric
- Be a change agent, willing to listen while working towards helping people and eventually the organisation towards a more progressive mindset

QUALIFICATIONS

**Mandatory requirements**
- A portfolio featuring interaction and visual design work. (Kindly submit with resume)
- Shipped actual consumer products over the years, and understand what it takes to create awesome, consumer-oriented experiences.
- Autonomous and independent
- Solid eye for details, visual design and hands-on experience in UI design. Experience with design guide or design systems is a bonus.
- Proficient with end-to-end experience design process to work with Product Managers, Software Engineers and UX Research teams.
- Ability to communicate & present complex concepts clearly across different audiences and varying levels of the organization with the help of product analytics.
- Ability to measure success with the help of metrics.

**Good to have**
- Experience in facilitating requirements, design thinking workshops and design sprints
- Experience in running user research from usability testing to contextual inquiry interviews
- Experience in working in a product, agile and enterprise is a huge bonus
