This work-study programme (WSP) will provide participants with the opportunity to learn from experienced industry mentor through structured on-the-job training and industry relevant classroom trainings. The structured WSP will not only prepare the participants for a fruitful career in the aviation industry, it will help to build a critical pipeline of precision engineering experts to support the development of Singapore as a premier advanced manufacturing hub. It will provide participants with a head-start in careers through the deepening of skills gained from acquiring relevant work experience and skills. Participants will enjoy skills-based wage increments and meaningful career advancement pathways upon programme completion and satisfactory job performance.

**Roles & **Responsibilities**
- Setup, operate and maintain all types of conventional or CNC machines such as Milling, Lathe, Surface Grinding, Shaping, Hobbing, broaching and conventional machines in the cell/process.
- Setup, operate and maintain all measuring equipment, gages and fixtures for making accurate Inspection checks.
- Perform simple troubleshooting of machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Maintain pertinent records; Shop-paper and work in accordance to technical instructions and drawings.
- Work in an orderly manner by keeping work areas, benches and machinery in a tidy and clean condition after used.
- Notify the Supervisor timely for any machine or tooling problems which could jeopardize product quality or infringe safe work conditions.
- Engage in any other activities or responsibilities as requested by the Supervisor.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- NITEC /Higher NITEC in Precision Engineering or equivalent.
- Basic command of written and spoken English.
- Able to work weekly rotating shifts.
- A team player.
