DESIGNATION : Driver, Day Care (Bus Driver's Vocational Licence required) *

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Driver is responsible to fetch clients back and forth their residence to the Centre. Attend and provide solutions to transportation matters, clients’ mobility aides, etc.

In addition, you are to assist the Seniors in their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Such ADLs include eating, mobility and transfer, toileting and diaper changing.

Plan and schedule daily transportation routes
- Assist residents to board and alight the transporter with care and safety
- Conduct general maintenance of transporter and in-vehicle equipment
- Ensure the safety precaution are taken in the course of work
- Ensure the transporter is clean at all times
- Transport residents safely to and from treatment areas
- Assist in helping elderly to washroom and serving them to meal
- Assist in the day to day operations of the Centre
- Give accurate account for investigation matters regarding to transportation or vehicle accident
- Assist in putting incident report in relation to transportation when necessary

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum secondary education
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience
- Bus Driver's Vocational Licence (BDVL) a must
- Driving experience in Social Service centre or Rehabilitation centre is an advantageous
- Ability to converse in local dialect an advantage
