Responsible for daily operations of accounting and financial matters for the South East Asia and China region, including Singapore Head Office, and regional offices. Close liaison with station finance and accounting departments will be required, as well as support for new locations and providing data to assist with business development.
- Handle full set of accounts including daily accounting & finance duties including preparing of payments, invoicing, GL, bank reconciliation, GST submission, etc.
- In charge of all data entry and ensuring all records are updated and filed properly and accurately, in a timely manner
- Prepare monthly financial and management reports
- Assist in the preparation of forecasts and budget
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, corporate secretary, and tax agents
- Coordinate and liaise with subsidiaries/associate companies on data request & queries
- Analyse budgets and forecasts vs. actual performance of the subsidiaries/associate companies
- Support subsidiaries/associate companies in their budget and forecast reporting and in their management accounts process and to liaise with auditors and tax agents
- Provide governance and support continual improvement of accounting and reporting policies and procedures to subsidiaries/associate companies
- Highlight any anomalies the require investigation
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

- Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents or dangerous occurrences to their manager / supervisor, who will then follow the procedures contained in this manual.
- Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
- Fully understand the company health and safety policy.
- Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company.
- Engage with MORSE and follow our code principles.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Degree in Accounting
- Prior relevant experience in audit, financial analysis or accounting field
- Adaptable, flexible and good attitude
- Hands-on, organised, self driven and detailed oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Excel and Word
- Capable of working independently
- Confident in communicating at all levels up to and including “C Suite”
