Senior / Principal Acoustics Consultant

**Senior/Principal Acoustic Consultant **role has come about due to our successful growth in this region, operating in Singapore and working collaboratively across different sectors in the Asia market.
- Our Singapore office is a growing, dynamic regional office with projects in different countries in Asia and working collaboratively with regional teams in Australia, New Zealand, and the rest of the world.
- You will work in a professional global consultancy, working closely with our multidisciplinary engineers and consultant teams. We have excellent career development programs and training opportunities.
- You will be supporting a growing number of projects and liaising directly with our business leaders in the Built Environment, Advisory, and Transport Sectors, both locally and in the Region.**The responsibilities of this key business role will include**:

- Oversight of projects, ensuring delivery of technical deliverables on-time and within budget.
- Lead and coordinate the acoustic design of key projects in the region.
- Managing various acoustic projects and ensuring projects are delivered successfully within time, quality, and cost objectives.
- Be a trusted advisor to clients on our key accounts.
- Support in business development and marketing initiatives
- Extend relationships with existing key clients to expand business opportunities for the acoustic discipline, and (where appropriate) other business groups within the region.
- Winning work, and growing team capabilities.
- Support and cultivate cross-sector opportunities in our Advisory, Transport and Energy businesses in the region.
- Work closely with other Mott MacDonald regional and international offices.

In addition, you will be expected to proactively participate in business development activities, project management, financial management and business leadership activities. Mott MacDonald is actively pushing the boundaries in our Digital solutions, and part of the role will be to ensure that we continue to integrate digital solutions into the way we deliver our work.

**Required qualifications**:

- Engineering or science degree in a relevant discipline, post-graduate qualifications will be an advantage;
- Eligible for Membership of Australian Acoustic Society, The Acoustical Society of America, Institute of Acoustics UK, or equivalent associations in other countries.
- At least 8 years acoustic consulting experience.
- Experience with acoustic computer modelling software, such as SoundPLAN, CadnaA, Odeon, EASE and MATLAB will be viewed favourably.
- Experience in the acoustic assessment of building service systems using Strutt or equivalent will be viewed favourably.
- Experience or specialist capabilities in other related fields, such as vibration, performance space acoustics, aeroacoustics will also be viewed favourably.
- Experience in performing noise and vibration measurements including post processing.
