**The Job**
Key Responsibilities
- System Implementation: Install and configure mechatronic systems and components, including sensors, actuators, control systems, and robotics.
- Ensure systems are integrated and function as intended in their operational environment.
- Maintenance, Troubleshooting and System Optimization: Perform regular maintenance and inspections on mechatronic systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues and breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and fix problems effectively.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and productivity.
- Update software and firmware as needed to ensure systems are operating with the latest advancements and security features.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of system configurations, maintenance activities, and repairs.
- Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance schedules.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure systems comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Implement safety protocols to minimize operational risks.
- Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system operations.
- Provide technical support and training to staff.
- Diploma or professional certification in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience and knowledge in implementing and maintaining mechatronic, electronic and control systems.
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools and maintenance techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
