This position contributes to the cafe by delivering scoops of gelato and desserts to its customers. The individual will also assist in the preparation of desserts and cashiering. Additional responsibilities include inventory management, opening and closing duties, and taking care of the team under you. **Responsibilities**:

- Day to day operations of the cafe.
- The preparation that is required for the day.
- Take orders, cashiering, attending to customers.
- Housekeeping of the cafe premise.
- Stocktake and inventory.
- Monitoring, receiving and verifying that daily supplies have been delivered.
- Training and supervising the cafe crew.
- Preparing schedules for the cafe crew and handling situations in cases of absence.
- Suggesting new menu items based on customers’ preferences and feedback.

Skills & Competencies
- To learn how to communicate relevant information clearly and effectively in oral communication while engaging with customers. Individuals would be able to handle service challenges such as customer complaints and feedback in a positive manner.
- Gain experience in point-of-sale systems, payments processing and record keeping. Individual would be able to independently perform stock taking, identify products to reorder and/or drive the business and maintain quality control.
- Able to follow food and beverage safety and hygiene policies and procedures. Individual would be able to cultivate a high food and beverage standard environment.
- Able to contribute to customer service over various platforms, respond and interact with customers. Individual would be able to project a positive and professional image and go-the-extra-mile service for the guests.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $1,800.00 - $2,000.00 per month
