Senior Software Engineer - 14105

Skillsearch is helping a gaming studio hire an accomplished, enthusiastic and self-motivated Senior Software Engineer to join a Singapore-based team working on an exciting, new and unannounced project. This full-time remote role within Asia comes with a generous salary, many excellent benefits and the chance to join a progressive company.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and implementing systems and game code. As an active member of the code team, you will help mentor less experienced programmers.

In your first few weeks in this Senior Programmer role, you can expect to:

- Design, develop, write, test and implement systems and game code
- Work with designers, artists and other personnel involved in the development process as required to create the highest possible quality product
- Help develop technical design specifications and implement them, testing gameplay features throughout the development cycle
- Estimate tasks and deliver high-quality code to that schedule.
- 3 years experience working in the video games industry
- 2 years experience in console or mobile programming
- Knowledge of industry-standard development practices
- Exposure to post-launch ongoing product development and delivery.
