IT Lecturer

**Job Overview**

We are looking for an experienced **IT Lecturer** to deliver **Pearson BTEC qualifications** in Information Technology (Levels 2, and/or 3). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about teaching and vocational education.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver and facilitate lessons for Pearson BTEC IT programmes
- Teach core units such as:

- Programming
- Cyber Security
- Networking
- Database Systems
- Prepare and assess assignments based on Pearson BTEC criteria
- Support students through tutorials, academic feedback, and guidance
- Maintain proper student records including attendance and grading
- Participate in internal quality assurance and moderation processes
- Assist in curriculum planning and continuous course improvement
- Use learning management systems (e.g., Zoom) for blended delivery

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Industry experience in IT or related fields
- Teaching qualification (e.g., ACTA, DACE, PGDE, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with Pearson curriculum, assignment briefs, and assessment methods
- Good understanding of the needs of post-secondary and adult learners
- Strong presentation, communication, and classroom management skills
- No criminal convictions

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Assessor (TAQA or equivalent) or IQA certification
- Prior experience teaching **Pearson BTEC IT qualifications** (Levels 2-3)
- Experience in blended or online learning environments
- Familiarity with EduTrust/Singapore regulatory frameworks (e.g., CPE)
