**Lay Up Deck Officer**

**Introduction to the job**

At Technip Singapore, we are looking for a **Lay Up Deck Officer.**

**Job description**:

- Safekeeping of the vessel (checking drafts and mooring arrangements, safety and security rounds)
- Raising any concerns discovered during watch keeping to management team onshore
- Completion of watch keeping logs, daily, weekly and monthly. Logs to be forwarded to Fleet Operations Manager monthly
- Assist Engineering Officer in completion of the Monthly Technical Report
- Ensure that any 3rd Party maintenance is adequately supervised in conjunction with OneFleet support
- Routine inspection / maintenance of all lifesaving and firefighting appliances / apparatus
- Maintenance and update of nautical charts and publications
- Administration duties including update of Personnel On Board (POB), vessel familiarisations and inductions as required.
- Act as Issuing Authority for any Permit controlled tasks onboard
- Ensuring all navigational equipment is functioning correctly
- Liaise with Port State Control / Port Authorities / Class Society / Emergency Services in event of any planned or unplanned attendances, informing OneFleet office where appropriate - OneFleet contact will be Fleet Operations Manager / Marine Superintendent
- Assist Engineering Officer in development of dry dock scope of work whilst carrying out watch keeping duties
- Review the Safety Notices, OneFleet Circular files and the OneFleet Business Management System (BMS) as required
- Regular communication with Fleet Operations Manager / Marine Superintendent or their Deputy
- Additional duties as directed by Fleet Operations Manager

**You are meant for this job if**:
**Essential**
- STCW OOW Certificate of Competence as minimum
- STCW Security Duties Certificate or higher
- Extensive experience within Technip Fleet as Deck Officer

**Nice to have**
- Specific vessel familiarity
