Professor Simon Redfern’s laboratory at ASE is seeking a Research Assistant (RA) to support a project investigating the impact of Voluntary Carbon Markets (VCMs) on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance in Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Geography, Economics, Public Policy, Sustainability Science, or a related social science or interdisciplinary field- Basic understanding of the scientific principles relevant to the research activities- Familiarity with ESG frameworks, carbon markets, or climate policy in Southeast Asia is an advantage- Experience working with both quantitative and qualitative data; prior exposure to datasets from international or government platforms is a plus- Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures- Effective communication and report writing skills- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
