The role of the Dental Assistant is to support the dental team by providing the patient with high-quality care by performing a variety of office, laboratory, and patient care duties. This usually entails helping the dentist handle patients, instruments, and supplies during the treatment of the teeth, mouth, and gums. At NoFrills Dental, our motto when it comes to serving our patients is pretty straightforward (It's in the name) - Providing consistently high-quality dental services at affordable prices for all patients, wherever we operate. **Job Highlights**: - Positive & nurturing work culture - Competitive remuneration package - Training & career development opportunities - Work-life balance **You are expected to**: - Assist the dentist in procedures - Ensure sterilization and disinfection of the dental room and premises - Be willing to learn - Preparing the treatment room and assisting the dentist during treatment - Maintaining clinic equipment, instruments and materials in good order - Having a good standard of infection control - Performing basic dental laboratory works - Carrying out reception duties such as patient registration, taking and making telephone calls, making patient appointments, billing and invoicing matters - Ensure patient comfort at all times - Must be a RESPONSIBLE Team Player and willing to accept constructive feedback - Pleasant personality, courteous, caring and attentive to patients and customers - Expected to work overtime at times - Handle disinfection and sterilization of equipment and instruments - Handle incoming telephone calls and schedule patient appointments - Handle patient enquiries, patients enquiries and billings to patients - Handle patient follow-ups and update patient records - Monitor and maintain inventory of instruments and dental material supplies **Requirements**: - Experience in Dental Assisting is a big plus but not mandatory. - Mature, positive attitude, team player & cheerful personality. - Applicants must be willing to work in Suntec City/Marina Square area - Relevant working experience in the dental industry is an added advantage Eg. Nitec or any equivalent. - Basic knowledge in using computers **Working Hours**: - 6 days a week - Retail Hours (10am - 7pm) **Attractive remuneration, yearly increments and benefits. Incentives and bonuses on good performance** **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,600.00 per month **Benefits**: - Dental insurance - Employee discount Schedule: - Monday to Friday - Weekend availability Supplemental Pay: - Performance bonus **Education**: - Lower Secondary Qualification (preferred) **Experience**: - Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
