**Job Purpose**:

- Monitoring trade activity and processes;
- Managing the integrity and accuracy of position report on global positions for cotton;
- Identifying key drivers of P&L for Cotton desk through profit attribution analysis;
- Responsible for the coordination and reconciliation between trading and accounting books for Asia.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for maintaining the trading position for Cotton division in the Asia Pacific region and reporting to the Global Controller and to the traders;
- Works closely with the trading desk, logistics, and operations team to ensure P&L calculations are accurately captured in trading system and middle office;
- Conducts analysis on forex exposures, futures and options, logistics costs;
- Liaises with accounting team every month end;
- Investigates and solves reconciliation issues:

- reconciliation of accounts / stocks for end of month closing
- reconcile month end accounting P&L to Trade P&L
- reconcile futures brokerage accounts monthly
- Daily generation of position report together with mid-office.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance or Business;
- At least 3-5 years experience in commodities which can include product accounting or middle office duties;
- Advanced Excel and BI/Analytics capabilities;
- Strong communication skills at all levels.
