Assistant Engineer

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist Project Director / Senior Engineer for the execution of Contracts/Tender progress
- Assist to co-ordinate with clients, consultations, subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of work schedule
- Monitoring and carrying out quality check on progress completed work and make recommendation for effect project management
- Preparation, checking and submission of shop drawings
- Prapare of 2D Autocad drafting according to project requirement
- To prepare and update equipment, project coordination and as-built drawings for submission based on information from team members
- Create and coordination of purchase orders from project sites and vendors using ERP System
- Purchasing of project materials. Price comparison of material, products, services, pricing, delivery and payment terms.
- Follow up with supplier for the delivery schedule to ensure on time delivery to project site without any delay.
- Provide general administrative support to the project team
- Prepare document submission for site clearance (e.g Airport pass)
- Assist Project Director in all other project matters as and when required

**Requirements**:

- Possess at least Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of working experience as Project Engineer in M&E industry
- Possess relevant safety certificates (i.e Building Construction Safety Supervisor Certificate) will be an advantage
- Travelling base on project site
- Proficient in MS Office Applications (i.e Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Knowledge on Autocad
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight project schedules
- Good interpersonal skills and positive working attitude
- 5.5 workdays
