The A&A Engineer (Civil) is responsible for assisting the Senior Site Engineer on the progress of site works and manpower related aspects of the project.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

- Monitor and supervise Junior Engineer to ensure compliance to the quality procedures & standard of workmanship. Checking on quality and quantity of work by subcontractors.
- Preparation of basic program for the site team.
- Ability to resolve drawing discrepancies prior to commencement of work.
- Preparation of basic method statements and work instructions for construction.
- Involve in coordination between client, authorities and operators for the necessary approvals and permits to carry out works in timely manner.
- Involve in coordination between sub-contractors / vendors / departments and anticipate labour / material / equipment demands to meet schedules.
- Involve in planning all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement, and control usage and wastages of all.
- Day-to-day management of the site.
- Preparing daily reports.
- Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.
- Expected to work during engineering hours occasionally.

**Value Add of Position**
- Ability to identify potential and / or occurring problems that affect the schedule of works at site and recommend solutions to relevant team / department.
- Familiarity with utilities and services diversion procedure
- Familiarity with controlled demolition (e.g. stitch coring, saw cutting)

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- Education: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University
- Experience: Prior 3 years of experience in Singapore underground MRT / LTA projects will be an advantage
- Minimally have completed 1 cycle of project with at least $100M in project value
- Possesses good interpersonal skills

**Technical Competencies**
- Technical expertise and knowledge in Foundation, Structural and Civil works
- Proficient in Microsoft Project
- Good knowledge on method statements
