The role reports to the CFO, and will play a critical role in leading the Finance team the "go-to" Deputy Head. **Key Responsibilities**: - Support the CFO to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organisational goals - Drive financial performance improvement and optimise resource allocation for sustainable growth - Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision making - Oversee financial operations including accounts operation, grants, and procurement - Develop and oversee internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard the organization's financial assets and mitigate risks. - Ensure financial regulatory compliance and maintain highest ethical and integrity standards - Collaborate across functions to drive efficiency and transformation initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation - Lead digital transformation initiatives in finance, leveraging advanced systems and data analytics - Effectively communicate complex financial information to diverse stakeholders, including the Board and regulators - Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders such as banks, regulatory agencies and ministries etc. **Qualifications**: **Qualifications**: - Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred - At least 10 years of progressive experience in senior financial management roles in a complex environment; experience in the healthcare or community care sector would be advantageous - Preferably with understanding of elder care and healthcare sector financial dynamics, statutory grants support, and mechanisms - Experience in implementing advanced financial systems and familiar with digital transformation would be an added advantage **Key Attributes**: - A leader with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans - Operationally sound and detail-oriented with an in-depth understanding of financial management, reporting, and analysis - Problem solver, adept at developing innovative financial solutions - Excellent communicator, capable of influencing and collaborating at all levels - Guided by a strong ethical compass, committed to compliance and governance - Culturally aligned with NTUC Health's values **Other Information**: This is in partnership with the Employment and Employability Institute Pte Ltd ("e2i"). e2i is the empowering network for workers and employers seeking employment and employability solutions. e2i serves as a bridge between workers and employers, connecting with workers to offer job security through job-matching, career guidance and skills upgrading services, and partnering employers to address their manpower needs through recruitment, training, and job redesign solutions. e2i is a tripartite initiative of the National Trades Union Congress set up to support nation-wide manpower and skills upgrading initiatives.
