An Appointment Setter plays a crucial role in generating leads and driving business growth by initiating contact with potential clients and scheduling appointments for the sales team. This role requires effective communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a persuasive demeanour to engage prospects and encourage them to commit to a sales meeting or consultation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Prospecting:
Create and maintain a database of leads with accurate contact information and relevant details.
2. Outbound Communication:
Introduce the company's products, services, and value propositions clearly and persuasively.
Qualify leads by assessing their needs, interests, and budget constraints.
3. Appointment Scheduling:
Use a scheduling software to book appointments based on the availability of both the sales representative and the prospect.
4. Follow-up and Relationship Building:
Maintain a courteous and professional tone in all interactions, fostering a positive impression of the company.
Develop rapport and build a positive relationship with prospects, addressing their concerns and answering preliminary questions.
5. Data Management:
Update lead information, communication history, and appointment details accurately in the system.
Provide regular reports to the sales manager or team lead, detailing the number of appointments scheduled, leads contacted, and outcomes.
6. Performance Metrics:
Meet or exceed weekly and monthly appointment-setting targets as set by the company - Additional Incentives will be given for per appointment set.
Continuously improve conversion rates and optimise the appointment-setting process through feedback and adaptation.
7. Training and Development:
Training about the company's products, services, and industry trends will be provided.
Participate in training sessions to enhance sales techniques, objection handling, and communication skills.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Persuasive and confident demeanor with the ability to handle objections.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with scheduling using Google Calendar.
- Previous experience in telemarketing, customer service, or sales support is a plus, but new-comers are also welcomed.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week
**Salary**: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
