Work with departmental managers to promote the hotel’s good image and cleanliness, thereby delivering excellent guest services and achieve maximization of hotel occupancy.
- Direct the daily housekeeping activities of the hotel, and operations of Linen Room and Guest Laundry to maintain the standard established by the hotel.
- Promote the hotel’s quality service standards and ensure that the hotel provides its guests with excellent housekeeping services such as clean linen and laundry services.
- Supervise housekeeping supervisory staff and ensure that they deliver a high level of service standard which are in line with performance standards established by the hotel.
- Review the operational procedures of housekeeping activities in the hotel with the intent of improving efficiency of housekeeping staff and cost reduction for the department through savings from manpower, amenities, etc.
- Conduct performance development review of department staff. Guide and improve performance where there is a shortfall in performance.
- Ensure all housekeeping equipment are kept in good working conditions and that they are serviced in accordance with the manufacturers' recommendations, thereby protecting their long-term investment value.
- Supervise the proper inventory management of housekeeping supplies and amenities, linen, etc. Ensure adequate stocks are available to meet the operational requirements of the hotel.
- Manage the department’s expenses, including overtime, rostering and allowances in accordance to the hotel operational needs.
- Prepare the hotel’s annual housekeeping budget.

Requirement
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in similar capacity in hospitality industry.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
- Strong attention to details.
