We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Vice President, High-Net-Worth Underwriting.**

**Principal Responsibilities**

In this role you will
- Conduct medical, financial and compliance assessment in accordance with the company’s underwriting guidelines and risk framework, adhering to delegated authority limits and service level agreements
- Manage the referral process to ensure optimal capacity for ultra large risks, including overseeing the total exposure with reinsurers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to collaboratively resolve complex underwriting queries related to risk selection
- Support the training and development of junior underwriters, including contributing to internal quality assurance audits to maintain consistent underwriting standards
- Review and refine medical, financial and residency guidelines to ensure continued market competitiveness
- Provides underwriting expertise and insights for new product development and broader company initiatives review
- Identify and implement process improvement to streamline internal workflow and enhance operational efficiency
RequirementsTo be successful you will need
- Strong underwriting experience in life, disability and critical illness insurance with specialisation in HNW
- University Degree or equivalent professional insurance designation preferred (e.g. Academy of Life Underwriting)
- Proven ability to manage complex cases and make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong understanding of medical, non-medical and financial principles and practices
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
