- To handle all aspects of a cargo claim from receipt of first advice to settlement.
- Appointing surveyors, corresponding with insured/claimant/insurer/third party experts.
- Requesting for and analysing claim documentation.
- Providing coverage opinions to Principal.
- Attending meetings with agents, brokers or Insured’s to resolve claims and claim disputes.
- To carry out duties in accordance with the Company’s Claims Procedures.
- Ability to prioritise and handle a high volume of claims.
- 2-5 years of experience in similar field dealing with Cargo Claims,
- Team player, positive attitude, able to work alone and as part of a team.
**Job Requirement**
Ability to effectively solve problems, negotiate and think on his/her feet;
Ability to follow routine procedures effectively at pace;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to prioritise and organise workload effectively;
The desire to study towards Insurance qualifications;
Good English and Written Skills.
