[What the role is]

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is Singapore’s central bank and integrated financial regulator.

As central bank, MAS promotes sustained, non-inflationary economic growth through the conduct of monetary policy and close macroeconomic surveillance and analysis. It manages Singapore’s exchange rate, official foreign reserves, and liquidity in the banking sector.

As an integrated financial supervisor, MAS fosters a sound financial services sector through its prudential oversight of all financial institutions in Singapore - banks, insurers, capital market intermediaries, financial advisors, and stock exchanges. **[What you will be working on]**

You will assist in the design, implementation, and review of a Whole-of-Government national programme to improve the financial well-being of Singaporeans.

In particular, you will be responsible for formulating outreach strategies and initiatives for the general population in Singapore. You will conceptualise, plan and run national campaigns that leverage on traditional media and social media platforms to carry key financial messages to various population segments. You will also be responsible for developing partnerships and seeking consensus with non-government stakeholders such as business and trade associations, to support the overall outreach and engagement strategy for working adults.

You will work with various stakeholders to support the development of the Singapore Financial Data Exchange and MyMoneySense, a government financial planning digital service.

You will also be involved in the research and review of the outcome indicators for the various target population segments, as well as put in place systems to monitor, review and enhance the effectiveness of the various initiatives.

You will work closely with the various Ministries and statutory boards under the MoneySense Council and other stakeholders, to foster a cohesive and integrated approach to financial education and outreach. Our partners include the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI), Central Provident Fund Board (CPFB), Institute for Financial Literacy, as well as media entities, associations, and private institutions.

You will also provide staffing support for various financial education meeting platforms and forums.

**[What we are looking for]**
- Degree in any discipline; prior experience in marcom and/or outreach will be given additional consideration
- Strong interest or experience in financial planning and policy matters
- Strong ability and mental flexibility in making sound judgement on cross-cutting issues and reconcile differences in opinions to achieve common objectives
- Good communicator with strong interpersonal and leadership skills who can forge effective partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong project management, writing and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and resourceful; able to deliver outcomes under time pressure, both independently and in a team
- You will be working in a fast-paced environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and needs of stakeholders, as well as the agility to respond to changes and developments.
