As a result, we have created a new unit focused on the transition and are developing solutions and capabilities to support our clients as the industry and their business evolve.
We launched our first Offshore Wind research offering - Windlogix - in April 2021, leveraging our 15+ years of experience in advising clients in the Offshore Wind industry, focused on the supply chain.
**The Role**
Offshore Wind energy is both growing and changing fast, with an explosion in capacity build from today’s low base across existing and new geographies. This brings with it commercial and supply chain risks that need to be understood and managed - increasing the need for more insight across the value chain.
Working within the new Energy Transition BU and reporting to the Offshore Wind Principal Analyst, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of the team’s data, analysis and research on Offshore Wind and its adjacencies. The role will have a broad scope; you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in a relatively small and growing team.
The role will primarily be based in Singapore but may require occasional International travel.
**Main Tasks**
- Monitor, collect and analyse Offshore Wind data and information, including on corporate activity, policy, projects, technology, costs and contracting
- Support the writing of reports on and presentation of Offshore Wind market trends
- Work collaboratively with others in the group on cross sector initiatives and adjacent technologies
- Provide analytical support for the consulting advisory team
**Knowledge and Skills**
- Passionate about the Offshore Wind sector, and the Energy Transition
- Preference for 1 - 3 years’ experience of working in the offshore wind sector, in an energy company or a knowledge-based company. We are open to a wide range of backgrounds.
- Demonstrable ability in collecting, analysing and presenting relevant data and information
- Ability to assess merits/limitations of data sources and different analytical techniques
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Optional:
- Knowledge of financial and / or LCOE modelling
- Knowledge in advanced data analytics
