Senior Osteopath

This role involves working with a diverse range of clients including office workers, athletes, elderly patients, and those with chronic conditions such as hypermobility spectrum disorders.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct patient assessments and physical evaluations to diagnose musculoskeletal issues
- Create and implement tailored osteopathic treatment plans
- Perform manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilisations, HVTs, and cranial-sacral therapy
- Administer adjunct treatments including dry needling and shockwave therapy (training can be provided)
- Document patient interactions and clinical notes accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals including physiotherapists, personal trainers, and nutritionists
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and community health workshopsEducate patients on posture, ergonomics, and exercise rehabilitation strategies

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, or Manual Therapy (local or overseas institution)
- Minimum 3 years of clinical practice experience
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
- Comfortable managing diverse patient demographicsExcellent interpersonal and team collaboration abilities

**Optional Requirements (Desirable)**:

- Master’s degree in Osteopathy or related field
- Certification in Dry Needling (e.g. GEMT)
- Experience with Shockwave Therapy
- Experience treating hypermobility disorders (e.g. Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome)
- Registration with local or overseas professional bodies (e.g. GOsC UK), as the case may be
