Junior Accountant

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities for group of companies;
- Handling partial set of accounts;
- Prepare and submit GST returns;
- Monitor and post all incoming payments to customer accounts;
- Prepare monthly debtors reconciliation and statement of accounts;
- Manage accounts payable & receivables functions include veifying supplier invoices, initiating payment, data entry, AR aging and report;
- Maintenance and reconciliation of creditor/debtor ledger;
- Enter accurate data into the accounting system;
- Retrieve system reports from the accounting system for management’s use;
- Assign account codes to all transactions in the accounting system;
- Liaise with external accounting firm;
- Prepare and submit claims such NS claims, grants and other;
- Ensure proper filing of accounting documents;
- Undertake such other work as may be assigned from time to time.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- At least Nitec in Accounting or a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting systems
- Min. 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Able to commence work immediately will be an advantage

**Salary**: $2,000.00 - $3,200.00 per month
