**About the Opportunity**: Mosaic Play Academy, a premium after-school care provider, is expanding its academic enrichment programs through an integral partnership with our affiliate, **STEMCO**. This collaboration brings a premier Math and Science Olympiad training program to our academy. Our parent company, Mosaic Global, is built the philosophy of **"play-inspired learning"**. We are looking for a pioneering educator who is passionate about both STEM and this innovative pedagogical approach to lead our program. **The Role**: As our Math & Science Olympiad Trainer, you will be a true pioneer at our academy. You will be responsible for building and delivering a best-in-class Olympiad preparation program. Your mission is to take complex mathematical and scientific concepts and make them accessible, exciting, and fun for primary school students. You will be instrumental in shaping confident, creative, and joyful learners who excel in critical thinking and problem-solving. **Key Responsibilities**: - **Curriculum and Instruction**: Design and deliver dynamic, high-quality Math and Science Olympiad training lessons for after-school care students. Adapt teaching materials to make them interactive and hands-on, fully embracing our "play-inspired learning" philosophy. Develop curriculum pathways to prepare students for various local and national competitions. - **Student Mentorship and Development**: Assess individual student strengths and areas for growth to provide targeted coaching. Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, iterative problem-solving, and collaboration. Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to both students and their parents. - **Program Champion**: Act as the lead and champion for the STEMCO program within Mosaic Play Academy. Collaborate with the centre management to promote the program and drive enrolment. Conduct workshops or preview classes for prospective parents and students. **Qualifications & Skills**: **Required**: - A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, a Science field, Engineering, or a related discipline. - Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or coaching students, particularly in the 7-12 age group. - An infectious passion for STEM and the ability to inspire a love for learning in children. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. **Highly Preferred (Good to Have)**: - Direct experience coaching students for Singapore-based Math or Science Olympiads (e.g., SASMO, SMOPS, NMOS, RIWAYAT, DOKA). - Experience in developing STEM-related curriculum or educational materials. - Familiarity with the Singapore MOE syllabus for Math and Science. **What Makes This Role Unique**: - **Expert Collaboration**:You will be working closely with our STEMCO founders and Olympiad experts, contributing to a top-tier curriculum while gaining invaluable insight. - **A Greenfield Opportunity**:You are not just joining a program; you are building it within the Academy.
