What we do:
The Trade Desk is seeking an inspirational and experienced Senior Workplace Manager to join our dynamic Workplace Services team. Our Workplace Managers lead teams that are responsible for creating a “best in class” workplace experience by overseeing vendor services, driving workplace communications, establishing stakeholder relations, and identifying ongoing opportunities for improvement. This role covers a diverse range of responsibilities and is focused on owning and managing the workplace experience and operations in our South East Asia and India offices.
What you’ll do:
- Lead efforts to elevate and create a holistic workplace experience across our multiple South East Asian and India offices by demonstrating strong hospitality focus across wide array of services such as: employee and guest arrival experience, office communications, food and beverage program, facilities, health and safety, space planning, office culture activation, events support, and general workplace operations responsibilities
- Maintain and influence effective relationships with senior business leaders and teams across functional areas throughout the organization that effectively balance the needs of the workplace team, the office, and the business
- Lead communication efforts and represent Workplace in your local offices, communicate difficult concepts across various platforms with professionalism, creativity, and clarity in a way that effectively influence and inspire others
- Partner with members of the Real Estate, Facilities and Workplace Services team and other departments to help ensure successful completion of special office projects
- Actively assess the pulse of the office by engaging with employees at all levels of the organization and sharing insights with the workplace leadership team to achieve successful organizational outcomes
- Use independent judgment, proactively and efficiently manage end to end workplace
- operations, create and implement scalable process and procedures, manage Workplace budgets, and oversee delivery of programs and services that positively impact the workplace culture and employee’s productivity
- Lead, manage and mentor other members of the team and provide guidance on complex issues facing the workplace organization
- Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic vendor relationships and address service concerns through timely feedback and performance reviews
- Delegate and prioritize effectively while balancing competing priorities
- Exercise discretion and independent judgement to implement important planning and action
- Understand safety and compliance, local government nuances and regulations
- Partner with HR and building management to communicate information to employees and visitors in a timely manner to ensure a safe and secure workplace for everyone
- Work closely with other senior leaders to coordinate across departments and build The Trade Desk’s organizational capabilities
- Maintain broad understanding of the processes, procedures, and systems used to accomplish team’s work and familiarity with the underlying concepts in other disciplines within the function
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree + 7 years of direct experience (or 10+ years of comparable experience) leading and managing a region and team
- Strong understanding of the business and culture norms in South East Asia and India
- Thrive in a high-growth and matrixed environment, experience within tech sector is a plus
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, solutions-focused, strong people, and communication skills
- Possess a service-oriented mindset and excellent hospitality skills
- Passion - your work matters, and you deliver it with an upbeat, positive attitude with attention to detail
- Grit - sometimes solutions take creative thinking and multiple iterations. You are resilient and resourceful in finding solutions
- Have a macro view - Know when to escalate and when to make decisions or recommendations. and understand how decisions can have impact across teams, offices, and global objectives
