**Job Summary**

Mirxes is looking for a mission-driven Full Stack Software Engineer to own the technical scoping and development for our end-to-end system and features for our cancer screening and health data platforms. In this role, you will partner closely with UX and Product to deeply understand the vision for the user experience, develop engineering specifications, and build the prototype and commercial configurations of features and product offerings. You will also be the key technical voice in product decisions and will be responsible for understanding and supporting the design of the product to align with the user needs and business case. This is a 12-months contract role.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Define end-to-end software engineering specifications to ensure that the systems meet the product requirements, user needs, and business case for cancer screening and health data platforms
- Support prototype and early-stage brainstorming, feature scoping, and technical diligencing of early-stage internal and external product concepts.
- Coach junior software engineers throughout the product development process

**Desired Skills and Competencies**
- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience developing and testing software products, preferably in digital health and/or a regulated environment
- Experience serving as the technical lead of a project spanning multiple technical systems and domains
- Demonstrated interest in and ability to learn other programming languages
- Fluency in one or more general purpose programming languages, including but not limited to - Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, or Python
- Experience developing full-stack products
- Strong communication skills and ability to discuss technical content with non-technical audiences
