Product Marketing Manager, Google Play

Minimum qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in leadership creating and executing innovative marketing campaigns, within a leading consumer technology, consumer electronics, or consumer package goods (CPG) company.
- Experience in partner marketing with developers, payments partners, OEMs, and/or carriers.
Preferred qualifications:
- Understanding analytical success and capacity for developing strategy.
- Understanding of Google's products and technology industry.
- Ability to take initiative, leadership roles, and breakthrough thinking and functioning in dynamic workstream environments.
- Solid communication and collaboration skills with the ability to define and manage large initiatives across organizational boundaries.
- Demonstrated innovation and creative problem-solving skills.
**About the job**:
Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
As a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) working on Google Play, you will set the strategy and plan for Google Play Partnerships across APAC. This will involve managing our Google Play buyer growth programs across the region together with country marketing teams and cross-functional teams, nurturing developer, and payment partner relationships, developing insights through comprehensive analysis, pioneering new experiments for buyer growth and being a thought leader in campaign measurement. A major part of this role involves working with global developers and regional carriers and e-wallets to grow the Google Play ecosystem.

**Responsibilities**:
- Lead development of annual strategy and plans for Google Play Partnerships in APAC and gaining alignment with global and country marketing teams.
- Manage pipeline of buyer growth programs across the region, ensuring that country teams are set up to execute successful campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to kickstart experiments and scale programs across APAC for buyer growth.
- Establish a robust understanding of our user base and its similarities and nuances across different countries, through research and data analytics and provide actionable insights to achieve buyer growth.
- Manage measurement for the region to ensure that we are measuring our impact in an accurate and credible manner.
