**The Opportunity**

As database analyst, you will provide valuable support by managing data for our team and our clients including half of the top 30 global restaurant brands with more than 100,000 restaurants worldwide. You’ll enjoy a tech-focused culture, using the latest cloud-based technology stacks, like Azure. Working within our collaborative DevOps team, you will support the software solutions used by more than 100,000 restaurant locations worldwide to increase profitability. Your day-to-day tasks will include gathering, importing, cleansing and analyzing client data. You will proactively identify issues and make recommendations, following them through to resolution.

**Who You’ll Work With**

You’ll work in our Singapore office as part of our DevOps [Data Integration] team, which is based in Tampa, Florida reporting to the Director of Data Integration. RMS DevOps builds and supports a range of internal systems and software products that enable restaurant and hospitality brands to see and do more with their data. The [Data Integration] team strives to create the best experience for our clients by helping them navigate and improve their data processes. You will also work closely with consultants and analysts on data projects and guide RMS clients through onboarding and ongoing assignments. **What You’ll Do**
- Extract, import, clean and load client data into Microsoft SQL Server according to defined schedule
- Ensure data transformation remains within acceptable thresholds per client
- Generate, review and distribute client data reports
- Analyze reports for accuracy and identify anomalous results
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting
- Troubleshoot IS Catalog - Level 1: Navigation and identification of error, initial research of error, recommend resolution, escalate as needed, and manual execution of package
- Troubleshoot data specific issues by researching reported issues and determining next steps
- Monitor automated processes for successful completion and report issues when necessary
- Become resident data expert for assigned clients
- Recommend process improvements
- Develop and maintain process documentation
- Perform client process and database audits
- Adhere to department coding standards and best practices
- Assist with advanced data analysis and reporting

Assist with onboarding new clients including setup, configuration and development
- Work closely with consultants and analysts to identify, assess and correct data issues
- Assist Data Integration team in other areas as required and necessary to meet the needs of our clients
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by DI Team Lead/Manager

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering high quality results on time
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Preferred experience of Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS or equivalent Database and ETL tools
- Effective written and verbal communication with both technical and non-technical associates
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments with shifting priorities
- Ability and willingness to accommodate irregular work hours including occasional extended or weekend work hours
- Continual pursuit for expanding own skills and knowledge base
- Experience in processing and transforming data in XML format

**Preferred**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a strongly affiliated discipline
- Previous experience in hospitality or retail
- Experience using Azure, Python, R and Power BI
