**What the role is**
- You conduct research on the information environment and keep abreast of the rapidly changing information environment as well as the technological landscape.

**What you will be working on**
- Conduct horizon-scanning for emerging technologies and important developments - Explore new tools and platforms to assess their suitability for monitoring and analysis work - Work closely with stakeholders to design and implement new tools, including supporting doctrine development - Sense-make ongoing developments in the information environment - Translate collected data into insights to support planning and execution of information activities Challenge(s) - Breaking new ground to develop knowledge and understanding in a new area - Working under time pressure while remaining flexible and adaptive to changes - Collaborating with various stakeholders across several agencies
