Logistics Specialist

The **Logistics Specialist** will play a critical role in the overall logistics process by performing a range of tasks related to the receiving, storage, and shipping of goods. This position requires physical agility, excellent organizational skills, and a strong sense of responsibility to maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency within the warehouse.
This position is part of the Materials Management team and will be located in Benoi, Singapore_._
**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:
- Warehouse: To perform warehouse administrative works.
- Logistics: To coordinate, organize, schedule, and manage all inbound and outbound shipments in accordance with organizational policies and in compliance with relevant local, country, and international customs laws and processes: To create shipping documents and coordinate pickups and deliveries with the respective forwarders. To keep systematic and accurate records of all shipments. Track and tally monthly billing/invoices from respective forwarders and ensure within budget. To understand and fulfill specialized shipments such as dangerous or hazardous goods, ensuring compliance with International Air Transportation Association (IATA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Compliance and Safety: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times; Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment, participate in safety training and be vigilant about safe working practices.
**The essential requirements of the job include**:
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or Science with min 5 years of working experience in manufacturing environment or equivalent
- Familiar with import and export custom processes
- Computer skills in Microsoft Excel and SAP
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and willingness to work on Over Time if required.
