**Assistant Director, Sustainability Report Assurance Services**

(Hybrid/Remote)

As the Assistant Director of Sustainability Report Assurance Services, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of sustainability report assurance services to clients. You will be responsible for building and leading a team of professionals to ensure that clients' sustainability reports comply with relevant standards and guidelines, and are credible, reliable, and transparent.

**Responsibilities**

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Lead and grow the firm's sustainability report assurance practice globally.
- Develop and implement report assurance and internal audit methodology and approach in accordance with required standards.
- Lead and manage GHG verification services.
- Manage sustainability report assurance engagements, including planning, execution and delivery.
- Ensure that engagements are completed on time, and in compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and mentor team members, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in sustainability reporting standards and guidelines, and assurance standards to advise clients and internal stakeholders accordingly.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the firm's sustainability assurance and verification services.
- Maintain the highest standards of professional integrity and ethics.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Business, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- An AA1000 assurance practitioner certification will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sustainability reporting, assurance, or GHG verification services.
- A thorough understanding of the principles, requirements, and guidelines set forth in the AA1000 Assurance Standard and ISAE 3000 (Revised) Standard is required.
- Strong auditing and assurance skills, including experience in the design and implementation of audit programs, audit planning, fieldwork, and report writing. Experience in identifying and assessing risk and in evaluating and testing internal controls is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing sustainability report assurance engagements.
- Strong understanding of sustainability reporting standards and guidelines, including GRI, SASB, TCFD, and GHG Protocol.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and mentor team members.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude and energy, and resourcefulness.
- Trustworthy, self-starter, and independent.
- High proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
