As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a **dedicated, qualified, and capable Principal** to lead one of our centres with professionalism and heart. This is a vital leadership position, especially amid the current economic climate, and we are looking for someone who is resilient, resourceful, and results-driven.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the centre, ensuring smooth daily operations in compliance with ECDA and other regulatory bodies.
- Lead, mentor and manage the team of infant educarers and support staff to deliver high-quality care and early childhood programmes.
- Foster a warm, safe, and inclusive environment for infants, families, and staff.
- Manage enrolment, parent engagement, and communications professionally to maintain strong relationships and support centre growth.
- Oversee curriculum planning and implementation, ensuring alignment with infant development milestones and ECDA standards.
- Ensure centre’s compliance with licensing, health and safety, and quality assurance standards (SPARK, etc).
- Budgeting, procurement and resource planning to optimise operational efficiency.
- Handle crisis management and conflict resolution when necessary with discretion and maturity.
**Requirements**:
- **Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education - Leadership (DECCE-L)** or **Diploma in Infant & Toddler Care** (or equivalent qualification recognised by ECDA).
- **Must be ECDA-certified as L2 or above**.
- At least **3-5 years of relevant leadership experience** in an infant care/childcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of local regulations and licensing requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Passionate about infant care and committed to high standards of education and care.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities; ability to manage multiple priorities.
