**Your day at NTT DATA**

The Performance Testers have a strong analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues.

**What you'll be doing**

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in end-to-end performance testing, including test design, execution, analysis, and reporting.
- Experience working closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams in real-world projects.

**Additional Knowledge**:

- Proficiency in programming languages like **Java**, **Python**, or **C#** for scripting and automating performance tests.

**e**xperience in Profiling and Tuning**:

- Experience identifying **bottlenecks** in CPU, memory, disk I/O, and network components.
- Ability to recommend and implement **performance tuning** at the code, database, or infrastructure level.

**Required Skills**:

- ** Tools**:JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, New Relic, AppDynamics.
- ** Skills**:Performance test design, scripting, automation, bottleneck analysis.
- ** Knowledge**:Cloud infrastructure, databases, distributed systems, APIs.
- ** Load and Stress Testing Expertise**: Ability to design, execute, and analyze load, stress, and endurance tests.
- ** Test Automation Tools**: Proficiency with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or NeoLoad.
- ** Scripting Skills**: Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java) for creating automated test scripts.
- ** Performance Monitoring**: Familiarity with tools for monitoring system performance (e.g., New Relic, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics) during tests.
- ** Problem-Solving and Debugging**: Strong analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues.
- ** Understanding of Protocols**: Knowledge of web technologies and protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, etc.) to assess system behavior under different conditions.
- ** Database Performance Testing**: Knowledge of SQL and experience testing database performance.
- ** CI/CD Integration**: Experience integrating performance tests within continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- ** System and Network Knowledge**: Understanding of system architecture, server configurations, and network parameters that impact performance.
- ** Communication and Reporting**: Ability to document and communicate test results, performance metrics, and recommended optimizations effectively to stakeholders.
